Actor Yoon Kyung-ho is confirmed as the lead in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Kim Bu-jang," marking another acting transformation for him.
SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Kim Bu-jang" (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun, planned by Studio S, Fantagio) is an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name and is a drama about an ordinary father and small-time citizen Kim Bu-jang who reveals a secret that must never be known to find his beloved daughter and risks everything to save her. In the drama, Yoon Kyung-ho plays Park Jin-cheol, whose affection for his daughter Da-bin is extraordinary.
Park Jin-cheol was once known as the "god of the battlefield" for rampaging across war zones, but now his greatest joy is being called Da-bin's dad, and he is the ultimate doting father. Yoon Kyung-ho is expected to draw attention by freely shifting between a strong charisma with a rock spirit and a tender side shown before his daughter. Added to this are realistic emotional expressions and line delivery that heighten immersion, which will convincingly complete Park Jin-cheol's deep paternal love.
Yoon Kyung-ho has continued steady activity across film, drama, and variety.
