Group NCT member Jungwoo (signed to SME)'s new song "SUGAR" music video teaser has been released.
The teaser for Jungwoo's first single "SUGAR," released today (27th) at 12 a.m. on YouTube's SMTOWN channel and others, blends an upbeat melody with Jungwoo's refreshing visuals, delivering an instantly uplifting energy and drawing strong reactions.
The new song "SUGAR" is a groovy pop track combining swinging drums, a witty bassline and a smooth, catchy melody, with lyrics that hold a warm wish that all the time spent together so far and the wait ahead will be sweet.
The music video charmingly depicts Jungwoo falling into the irresistible sweetness of sugar; centered on theaterlike direction, scenes sensually incorporate colorful hues and sugar-evoking objects such as jelly, candy and cookies, harmonizing to maximize Jungwoo's fresh and lovely mood, for which a positive response is expected.
Jungwoo will release his first single "SUGAR" at 6 p.m. on Nov. 28, and on the same day he will hold a solo fan meeting, "Golden Sugar Time," at the Ticketlink Live Arena (Handball Gymnasium) in Seoul Olympic Park in two sessions at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., where he will present the stage for "SUGAR" for the first time.
Jungwoo will appear on various music shows, including MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 29th and SBS's "Inkigayo" on the 30th.
