'Radio Star' Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo already expressed hurt as a father of a daughter.
The MBC entertainment show 'Radio Star' that aired on the 26th featured Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo, Kang Hyung-wook, Zion.T and Kwon Tto-tto. YouTuber and dancer Kwon Tto-tto said, "There is a friend I decided to give my life for. It is Gabee. About six months ago Gabee told me that Radio Star would contact me and to prepare a skill," and, following Gabee's advice, showed an incredible talent non-stop.
Quiet Zion.T said, "I seem to shrink whenever I appear on variety shows. I came out for therapy," adding, "Sometimes the desire to be on variety shows rises once every few years. I wanted to appear on 'Radio Star' after seven years," bringing occasional laughs. He showed little enthusiasm even for Kwon Tto-tto's ridiculous self-composed song. That was his genuine reaction, but because Zion.T is so listless, even that was a funny scene.
Kang Hyung-wook said, "I'm glad to see Jang Doyoun. We met on 'Dogs Are Incredible' and she treated me really well," and greeted Jang Doyoun warmly. The surprising fact was that Kang Hyung-wook and Jang Doyoun were both born in 1985 and the same age. Jang Doyoun said, "Sometimes that shoot lasts all day outdoors. We're the same age, but for some reason it's hard to call him 'Hyung-wook'" which drew laughter.
Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo is currently living with his fiancée and the mother of his soon-to-be-born second daughter, Ms. Lee Ah-mi. Lee Min-woo, who met Ms. Lee Ah-mi in 2013 through an acquaintance of an acquaintance and kept occasional contact, could not meet her for five to six years due to COVID-19, but they reunited when he visited Japan last year. In the meantime Ms. Lee Ah-mi had married and divorced and was raising her daughter alone.
Lee Min-woo felt compassion for Ms. Lee Ah-mi and wanted to see her again. When he went back to Japan he spent time meeting Ms. Lee Ah-mi and her daughter, Mi-jjang, and then seriously asked to date her. In April Ms. Lee Ah-mi became pregnant.
Lee Min-woo said, "I told Lee Ah-mi, 'I'm not only dating you but also dating your daughter.' As we continued to meet, in early April we heard the news of the pregnancy. That became a turning point. I wanted to be the head of the household and live a newly happy life," saying he developed a strong desire to live as the head of the family.
Mi-jjang, who has almost no memory of her father, follows Lee Min-woo as her dad and is friendly with him. Lee Min-woo spends time with his daughter, helping with Mi-jjang's kindergarten drop-off and pick-up. At the same time he is studying to be a father for the soon-to-be-born second daughter. Lee Min-woo said, "Mi-jjang has almost no memory of her father. So skinship has increased and we've become much closer. And while preparing to be a father for Yangyang-i, I also attend elementary school parent orientation for Mi-jjang."
Despite this, Lee Min-woo said he feels hurt by his daughter Mi-jjang. Lee Min-woo said, "Mi-jjang truly likes Jun-jin, not me, from Shinhwa. When she watches TV and Jun-jin appears she gives him a kiss. When Jun-jin visited our home she immediately clung to him," and added, "I was a bit hurt," which drew laughter.
