'Radio Star' Shinwa's Lee Min-woo, who is expecting his second child, said that the Birthcare Center reservation was made solely according to his fiancée Lee Ah-mi's wishes.
On the 26th episode of MBC variety show 'Radio Star', Lee Min-woo revealed his love story with Lee Ah-mi. Lee Min-woo said, "During Shinwa's 2013 Japan tour my wife Lee Ah-mi attended an after-party as an acquaintance of an acquaintance. At that time Lee Ah-mi was a college student. When I went to Japan for fun she also interpreted for me and we became close," revealing his connection with Lee Ah-mi.
After that he said, "Because of COVID-19 we couldn't meet for a while, but last year when I went to Japan I contacted her. Then Lee Ah-mi said that in the past 5–6 years she had a daughter and had divorced early. I also had various things happen, so I felt compassion," saying their relationship developed quickly.
Lee Min-woo said, "After returning to Korea I thought about it a lot. So on Christmas in December I asked if she had time and met Lee Ah-mi and her eldest daughter Mijang. Living like a family, I confessed on January 1," and added, "I told Lee Ah-mi, 'I'm not just dating you, I'm also dating your daughter.' After being together like that, in early April we heard the pregnancy news. That became the catalyst. I wanted to become the head of a family and live a newly happy life," calling the child a blessing.
He said, "The expected due date is Dec. 4. It could happen even now. So I'm ready to leave anytime during recordings," he said. Regarding use of a Birthcare Center, Lee Min-woo said, "Acquaintances around me recommended one week at a Birthcare Center, but Lee Ah-mi wanted to stay two weeks so we chose two weeks," attracting attention.
