Choe Lip-woo, a former contestant on cable channel Mnet's 'Boys 2 Planet,' has been drawing intense attention even before his debut.
Choe Lip-woo will release the single album SWEET DREAM on Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. and officially debut in the music industry. He will then hold his first solo fan meeting, 2025 Chuei Li Yu Fan Meeting "Drawing Yu" (2025 Choe Lip-woo fan meeting 'Drawing U'), at Sejong University Daeyang Hall on Dec. 20-21, marking his first meeting with fans since the end of 'Boys 2 Planet.'
Meanwhile, Choe Lip-woo proved his astonishing ticket power by selling out the fan meeting, which seats about 2,000 per show, at breakneck speed immediately after tickets opened. The fan meeting was originally scheduled for Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., but due to enthusiastic fan response, two additional shows were added on the 21st, bringing the total to four. He also announced a fan meeting in Taiwan on Jan. 3 next year following the domestic one, signaling the official start of his global activities.
In addition, Choe Lip-woo is active across various genres, receiving offers for photo shoots, ads and broadcasts. On the day his first digital photo shoot with fashion magazine Marie Claire was released, related keywords rose to the real-time trends on X (formerly Twitter), revealing strong fan interest in Choe Lip-woo. He has also been showing his presence across diverse fields, including a chicken brand commercial, MBC FM4U's Idol Radio and the YouTube channel 'DongneStar K.'
Through a collaboration with the self-photo booth brand Photoism, Choe Lip-woo gifted fans special memories with frames containing his unique and varied poses. The collaboration demonstrated his high publicity and favorability and concluded with strong fan participation.
With Choe Lip-woo already standing out in many areas ahead of his debut, expectations are rising for his activities as a solo artist.
