Group SHINee's Minho paid tribute to the late Lee Soon-jae.
On the 26th, Minho posted on his social media, "I am grateful I could be with the teacher; I truly felt and learned a lot," along with a photo from a theater stage where he performed with the late Lee Soon-jae.
Minho added, "I will not forget the many things you taught me and will keep them well. Thank you sincerely, teacher. From junior Choi Min-ho," expressing his condolences.
Earlier, Minho challenged himself with his first play last year, appearing in Waiting for Godot (directed by Oh Kyung-taek) in the role of Val. At that time, Minho stood on stage and shared acting chemistry with Lee Soon-jae, who played the role of Estragon.
Minho also released a photo showing the late Lee Soon-jae in life studying while looking at a script written in large letters, and conveyed the message, "With respect and gratitude... I will remember you forever, teacher," adding to the poignancy.
Meanwhile, the late Lee Soon-jae passed away in the early hours of the 25th. He was 91. The wake was set up in Room 30 of the funeral hall at Asan Medical Center. The funeral procession will be held at 6:20 a.m. on the 27th, and the burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon.
