Actress the late Lee Soon-jae and Seominjeong, who worked together on "Unstoppable High Kick," Seominjeong mourned the deceased.
Seominjeong posted photos taken with Lee Soon-jae while he was alive on her personal SNS on the 26th. Along with them, she said, "I don't know how proud I was to be able to act in the same work as Teacher Lee Soon-jae in the 2006 High Kick. Being able to act in the same screen was like a dream to me," she said.
She continued, "Even these ordinary days, whenever I see him on TV I vividly remember his kind smile as he always showed consideration, encouraged, and warmly welcomed each far younger junior, and I used to boast and cheer to my daughter, so I'm so sad that I can't see him again," and added, "Over his long acting career he must have met so many people, but I respect and will remember and be grateful for the warm teacher who cherished even small connections and greeted people with such pleasure."
Seominjeong formed a connection with Lee Soon-jae by appearing in the MBC sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick" (abbreviated as "High Kick"), which aired from 2006 to 2007. "High Kick" received so much love that it is still talked about as a legendary sitcom.
Lee Soon-jae passed away in the early hours of the 25th. He was 91. The wake was set up in room 30 of the Asan Medical Center funeral hall in Seoul. The funeral service will be held on the 27th, and the burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon. In addition, to honor the deceased who devoted himself to acting into his nineties, a public condolence area was also arranged at the KBS annex in Yeouido, Seoul.
