Newlywed Kim Ji-min candidly shared her unreserved feelings about appearing on "Lee Ho-seon's Cider" ahead of its premiere.
The SBS Plus "Lee Ho-seon's Cider," which premieres at 10 a.m. on the 29th (Sat), is a real talk counseling show that refreshingly clears up viewers' frustrating worries with an unconventional "cider solution." Professor Lee Ho-seon and comedienne Kim Ji-min will appear as the two MCs and resolve "villain" stories from interpersonal relationships that anyone may have experienced with the most realistic and gratifying reversal solutions.
In particular, Kim Ji-min, who has been loved for her work as a comedian, actress and variety show host, brings empathy to "Lee Ho-seon's Cider" by sharing real-life stories she has experienced as a newlywed four months after marrying comedian Kim Jun-ho. Together with Professor Lee Ho-seon, who delivers his trademark cider solutions, Kim Ji-min is expected to draw responses as she tackles "real-life villain elimination" with an honest, straightforward chemistry that alternates between anger and cheers.
Q1. What made you decide to appear on "Lee Ho-seon's Cider"?
I once saw the professor give clear advice on another program, and he spoke so well that I thought it would be fun to do a show with him. So when the offer to appear came, I immediately said I would do it. I also expect to hear many stories that could be helpful to me as a newlywed.
Q2. How was the chemistry with Professor Lee Ho-seon after the first recording? Also, what was your first impression of the professor?
Professor Lee Ho-seon is recognized for clear solutions, and as expected, from the recording he delivered remarks as refreshingly as the program's name, which left me impressed. Our chemistry clicked like a give-and-take, so I think the upcoming recordings will be fun. I was especially surprised at how realistically he performed the anger-inducing villain role when reading applicants' stories.
Q3. As a newlywed, what questions might Kim Ji-min have for Professor Lee Ho-seon regarding married life and in-law relationships?
I recently had a minor argument with my husband about a pillow, and I'm curious about how to resolve such issues. I also wonder how frequently it is appropriate to call my in-laws after marriage.
Q4. What kind of image would you like to show on "Lee Ho-seon's Cider"? Also, what do you think you will take away from it?
The professor is hot for his cider-like advice, and I also speak frankly and plainly, so I think we can give viewers a very refreshing time as if they drank cider. I also expect to learn wisdom for resolving difficulties that occur in many relationships by listening to the professor's answers to various stories.
The production team said, "From the first recording, Kim Ji-min enriched the program by sharing real situations she has experienced as a newlywed," and added, "After the first recording, their chemistry was so tight that they called each other comedian Lee Ho-seon and counselor Kim Ji-min. Please watch the performances of Professor Lee Ho-seon and Kim Ji-min."
