The global representative K-pop awards ceremony "2025 MAMA AWARDS (2025 마마 어워즈)" has hinted at the special stages that will be presented at the main ceremony.
At "2025 MAMA AWARDS," from special collaboration stages that transcend genres and generations to artists' first performances of eagerly awaited new songs, the best performances that encompass the present and future of K-pop are being announced.
First, a special collaboration stage that can only be seen at "2025 MAMA AWARDS" has been prepared. Combining unique freshness and energetic charm and gaining global popularity, the "top trend" NCT WISH and the group Hearts2Hearts, which debuted in 2025 and has shown high teamwork and solid performance skills, will meet to present an overwhelming performance synergy.
The group BOYNEXTDOOR, which achieved career highs with each album, secured three consecutive million-selling albums, swept various charts and emerged as a "music powerhouse," will create a dramatic stage in an unusual pairing with acclaimed actor Choi Dae-hoon, who created the syndromic catchphrase "hakssi ajusshi" from When Life Gives You Tangerines and won the Baeksang Arts Awards for best supporting actor. The unique storytelling that combines music and acting is expected to leave a deep impression on viewers.
Also, the K-pop super rookies with powerful performances, boy groups I-DIT and KickFlip, will meet to unleash explosive energy in a fierce joint stage, drawing attention.
News was also released about a "world premiere" stage that K-pop fans around the world have eagerly awaited. The mega rookie boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE, racing toward the global K-pop summit, will unveil their pre-debut first single "FORMULA" for the first time worldwide on the "2025 MAMA AWARDS" stage. Even before their official debut, their first official stage, which is already generating strong global buzz and high interest, is expected to become a major topic as an opportunity to imprint the new group's identity on global fans.
RIIZE, a group loved globally for building the distinctive genre called "emotional pop," will present the title track "Fame" from their new single for the first time at the awards ceremony. It will be a special stage where audiences can see RIIZE's even more developed, high-difficulty performance tailored to a Rage-style hip-hop song they are trying for the first time.
"2025 MAMA AWARDS" will have global payment technology company Visa as title sponsor. It will be held at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on Nov. 28 and 29 local time, and will be broadcast live globally through various digital platforms including Mnet Plus, allowing K-pop fans around the world to join.
