'The Upstairs Neighbors' cast held a time of mourning for the late Lee Soon-jae.
On the 25th at Megabox COEX in Seoul, the press screening and press conference for the film 'The Upstairs Neighbors' (director Ha Jung-woo, provided/distributed by By4M Studio, produced by Cidus·Walkhouse Company) were held. The event was attended by actors Ha Jung-woo, Gong Hyo-jin, Kim Dong-wook and Lee Ha-nee.
'The Upstairs Neighbors' is a film that depicts an unpredictable story that unfolds when the upstairs couple (Ha Jung-woo–Lee Ha-nee) and the downstairs couple (Gong Hyo-jin–Kim Dong-wook) end up having dinner together one night because of noise from the different floor every night. It is drawing attention as Ha Jung-woo's fourth directorial effort.
Especially, before the event that day an announcement was made saying, "Because the late Lee Soon-jae has passed away, we will hold a moment of silence and then proceed with the press conference."
Afterward, while the actors held a moment of silence, they drew attention by appearing in black clothing.
Meanwhile, according to the bereaved family, Lee Soon-jae passed away in the early morning of the 25th at the age of 91. The late Lee Soon-jae's funeral hall is Room 30 at Asan Medical Center's funeral home in Seoul, and the funeral procession will be at 6:20 a.m. on the 27th. The burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon.<
