On Thursday the 27th at 10 p.m., MBC's 'Save me! Homes' (directed by Jeong Da-hi, Nam Yu-jeong, Heo Ja-yun, Kim Seong-nyeon / hereafter "Homes") will air, featuring singer-actor Yoon Eun-hye and Hwang Chan-sung departing on a "gukbap road in Seoul" scouting trip.
This episode unfolds the "gukbap road in Seoul" along the Hangang belt as a warm scouting mission to find the soul of Koreans. Gukbap, Korea's soul food that has comforted Koreans' spirits since ancient times! Where there is gukbap, people gather, and where people gather, markets and residential districts form. The neighborhood scouting following gukbap is joined by singer-actor Yoon Eun-hye, Hwang Chan-sung and Jang Dong-min.
Before the full scouting, when Yoon Eun-hye appeared in the studio, Kim Dae-ho confessed, "Amazingly, I and Yoon Eun-hye are the same age, born in 1984. She was a third-year middle schooler when Baby V.O.X debuted, and she was at the height of her popularity," he said. Yang Se-hyung also said, "At that time all the boys put her photo in their diaries."
Yoon Eun-hye, who is also active as an actress, confessed a special connection with Joo Woo-jae. She said, "In the past I filmed the drama 'Warning of excitement' with Joo Woo-jae; at that time he acted so well and was reliable. But later he appeared on broadcasts in such strange(?) ways that I was shocked," which left Joo Woo-jae frustrated(?).
In response to the question, "What kind of roles would you like to take on in the future?" Yoon Eun-hye said, "I want a passionate love story and, before I get older, I want to try action acting too."
Hwang Chan-sung of 2PM, who also appeared, said he debuted in the MBC sitcom 'High Kick!' before his singing debut and is expanding his range as an actor. Hwang Chan-sung, who said he recently released his first full-length album in Japan, added that he has been steadily active there.
Asked what food people in Japan eat to cure a hangover after a company dinner, Hwang Chan-sung said, "Japan is famous for ramen and udon, and especially spicy tantanmen is perfect for curing a hangover."
Homes coordinators, saying Koreans cure hangovers with gukbap, introduce distinctive gukbap from each region. Park Na-rae said, "In Muan, Jeollado, there is saekkibo gukbap. It contains a pig's uterus, a part that must be fresh to eat. It's possible because there is a livestock market in Muan." Kim Dae-ho, from Yangpyeong, introduced, "Yangpyeong is famous for haejangguk. It contains a lot of offal, and you have to pour chili oil over it. If you add pickled peppers on top, it's really delicious."
