SHINee member and solo artist Taemin once again proved his global ticket power by selling out concert tickets in Las Vegas, USA.
The TAEMIN Live [VEIL] in Las Vegas, held at Dolby Live at Park MGM (hereafter Dolby Live) in Las Vegas on Jan. 16 next year (local time), sold out during general ticket sales.
During the ticket sale held at 3 a.m. on the 25th (Korea time), there were up to 200,000 simultaneous connections causing nearly an hour of waiting, and tickets sold out within 10 minutes of opening.
This can be seen as a continuation of the strong U.S. response after Taemin performed Veil on the popular U.S. NBC talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show on the 22nd (Korea time), a song that had ranked No. 3 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart in the U.S.
Last year, during his first solo world tour Ephemeral Gaze, Taemin also demonstrated explosive popularity by selling out all five U.S. city shows in New York, Chicago, Houston, Oakland and Los Angeles and opening additional seats.
Dolby Live, where the Las Vegas performance will take place, is an iconic stage where global artists such as Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars and Maroon 5 have performed, and is known for its state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos sound system. Combined with Taemin's unique performance and high-quality live show, it is expected to create a next-level stage.
After the Las Vegas concert in January next year, Taemin will be the only male K-pop solo artist to perform at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, where he will deliver the powerful performance only he can present.
