Actor the late Lee Soon-jae's final drama "Gae-sori" is being discussed for a special broadcast.
On the 25th, KBS said, "We are discussing a special broadcast of actor Lee Soon-jae's posthumous work 'Gae-sori'."
'Gae-sori' is a KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama that broadcast from Sep. 25 to Oct. 31 last year. A situational comedy drama that depicts the cheerful and audacious coming-of-age of older adults drawn by high-performing seniors and Sophie, a former police dog, and through this work Lee Soon-jae won his first acting grand prize in his life.
The late Lee Soon-jae closed his eyes in the early hours of the 25th. The late Lee Soon-jae, who remained active despite his advanced age, was beset by health rumors from the end of last year, canceled theater activities and other engagements, and rested to focus on recovery.
Born in 1934 in Hoeryong, North Hamgyong Province, Lee Soon-jae debuted in theater with "Beyond the Horizon" in 1956 and appeared in dramas such as "Donguibogam", "See and See Again", "The Three Kims Era", "Men of the Bathhouse", "The Rustic Period", "Toji" (land), "Samo-gok", "Heo Jun", "Sangdo", "Lee San", "High Kick Through the Roof", "Unstoppable High Kick", and "Gae-sori", and in plays such as "Long Life Store", "Henry the Grandfather and Me", "King Lear", and "Waiting for Godot".
Meanwhile, the late Lee Soon-jae's funeral hall will be set up in room 30 of Asan Medical Center's funeral hall. The send-off will be at 6:20 a.m. on the 27th, and the burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon.
