Actors Shin Mina and Kim Woo-bin together paid tribute to veteran actor the late Lee Soon-jae.
On the 25th, Lee Soon-jae passed away. He was 91. The wake was set up in room 30 of the Seoul Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall in Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. As the funeral is being held under the chairmanship of the Federation of Artistic Associations, the bereaved family has been receiving visitors since the afternoon.
At the wake, condolence wreaths from seniors and juniors in the entertainment industry have been arriving one after another, filling the deceased's final path. In particular, Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina, who recently announced their marriage, sent condolence wreaths side by side. According to entertainment industry officials, wreaths that arrived side by side under the names 'actor Kim Woo-bin' and 'actor Shin Mina' stood guard beside the wake.
Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina acknowledged their relationship in 2015 and have been an official couple in the entertainment industry for 10 years. In particular, the two have received fans' support for their mirror-like actions, participating together in various donations and good deeds. They recently attracted attention by announcing that they would hold their wedding at a hotel in Seoul on Dec. 20.
Meanwhile, Lee Soon-jae's funeral is being held under the chairmanship of the Federation of Artistic Associations to honor the deceased's achievements in continuing to act relentlessly into his nineties. Also, to honor the man loved as a 'national actor,' the bereaved family will receive condolences from the general public at the KBS annex in Yeouido in addition to the wake. The location for public condolences will be opened to the public starting that evening.
The funeral ceremony will be held at 6:20 a.m. on the 27th, and the burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
