'2025 KBS Entertainment Awards' will meet year-end viewers with the three MCs Lee Chan-won, Lee Min-jung and Moon Se-yoon.
The '2025 KBS Entertainment Awards', held on Dec. 20 at the KBS New Building open hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, will feature singer Lee Chan-won, actress Lee Min-jung and comedian Moon Se-yoon as MCs.
First, all-purpose entertainer Lee Chan-won, who has versatile talents, will serve as an MC for the 'KBS Entertainment Awards' for the second consecutive year following last year. Lee Chan-won has appeared on various KBS variety shows such as 'Immortal Songs', "Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant", 'Celebrity soldier's secret' and 'Volunteer', showcasing not only steady hosting but also witty banter. In particular, having won the youngest-ever grand prize at the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards' and solidified his presence as "KBS's son," expectations are high for Lee Chan-won's reliable performance at this year's ceremony.
Lee Min-jung, who has built a diverse filmography with chameleon-like appeal, will act as an MC for a terrestrial year-end awards ceremony for the first time in her 27 years since debut through this 'KBS Entertainment Awards'. This year she served as the main host on the KBS2 variety show "Heart on Wheels", which bears her name, showing honest and cheerful charm. Previously, Lee Chan-won appeared as a guest on "Heart on Wheels" and showed warm chemistry with Lee Min-jung, so their first MC partnership is also being noted as a point of interest.
Added to this, the acknowledged variety veteran Moon Se-yoon will take the MC seat at the 'KBS Entertainment Awards' for the third time, following 2021 and 2022. Since 2019, Moon Se-yoon has led KBS2's flagship variety show and Korea's representative real wild road variety "2 Days & 1 Night season 4," demonstrating irreplaceable variety talents, and he won the grand prize at the '2021 KBS Entertainment Awards'. Moon Se-yoon's smooth hosting skills honed by active broadcasting and his innate sense are expected to add energy to the ceremony.
With a solid MC lineup confirmed, the 'KBS Entertainment Awards' is a festival that brings together KBS variety shows that brought laughter and emotion to viewers throughout 2025.
