The band Dragon Pony(Dragon Pony) successfully concluded a cross-border collaboration concert.
Dragon Pony(Ahn Taegyu, Pyeon Seonghyun, Kwon Sehyuk, Go Ganghun) attended the collaboration concert 'youTopia vol.2 "Dragon Pony X KAMI WA SAIKORO WO FURANAI" - SEOUL'(hereinafter 'youTopia') held at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 22nd and 23rd.
'youTopia' is a planned concert themed on a utopia. Japanese ticket platform and promoter PIA selected Korean band Dragon Pony and Japanese band Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai to share the stage and give the audience a special musical experience.
Opening with the unreleased original song 'ROCKSTAR,' Dragon Pony presented a fresh charm with a set list different from before. Throughout the show, Dragon Pony demonstrated overwhelming stage presence with powerful band performances that fully captured the passionate cries of imperfect youths.
In particular, Dragon Pony showcased the free-spirited nature of a rock band with a selection of more than 10 songs, ranging from tracks that blend refreshing elements into a rocking sound to songs that unleash explosive energy, reminiscent of a solo concert.
In keeping with the concert's purpose, Dragon Pony maximized musical synergy by performing Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai's signature song 'キラキラ(키라키라)' together with the band's vocalist Yanagita Shusaku. After the concert, Yanagita Shusaku praised the show, saying, "It was such a great performance that it ranks in my top three in life. Watching Dragon Pony's performance made me sweat and feel excited."
Following Germany's 'K-INDIE ON Festival' and Vietnam's 'Korea Spotlight 2025,' Dragon Pony has continued to expand its activities on the global stage by appearing at 'youTopia' held in Korea and Japan. Attention is increasing on the trajectory of Dragon Pony, the 'top rookie of the K-band scene,' as they continue to dominate major domestic and international festivals.
Dragon Pony is scheduled to continue the collaboration concert 'youTopia' in Tokyo on Jan. 16, 2026.
