The most anticipated Genie TV original Climax, scheduled to air in the first half of 2026 (directed by Lee Ji-won/written by Lee Ji-won, Shin Ye-seul/planned by KT Studio Genie/produced by Hive Media Corp, SLL), is a fierce survival drama about prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, who jumps into a cartel of power to reach the top position in Korea, and those around him.
Climax is produced by Hive Media Corp, which has consistently presented works that combine artistic merit and box-office appeal such as 12.12: The Day, Inside Men, Director General of Namsan, Deliver Us from Evil, YADANG: The Snitch, and is directed for television by Lee Ji-won, who swept newcomer director awards including the Baeksang Arts Awards for the film Miss Baek. Joining them are Ju Jihoon, Ha Ji-won, Nana, Oh Jung-se, and Cha Joo-young, drawing attention as a must-watch for the first half of the year.
First, Ju Jihoon plays Bang Tae-seop, who became an instant star prosecutor after marrying Korea's top actress (played by Ha Ji-won).
Nana plays Hwang Jeong-won, who secretly serves as an informant at Bang Tae-seop's side.
