Actress Han Ji-hyun returns with a short but poignant first-love story.
On the 24th, agency Chorokbaem Entertainment said, "Han Ji-hyun has been cast as Han Young-seo, the lead in the 2025 KBS2 one-act project Love: Track episode 'First love is wired earphones' (directed by Jung Kwang-su, written by Jung Hyo)."
The 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project Love: Track is a romance anthology that tells 10 different-shaped love stories. Among them, Han Ji-hyun's one-act 'First love is wired earphones' depicts the story of 2010, third-year high school student Han Young-seo (played by Han Ji-hyun), who has consistently ranked first in school, meeting delinquent Ki Hyun-ha (played by Ong Seong-wu) and confronting her dreams and love.
In the drama, Han Young-seo lives the life of an exemplary student with a brilliant mind, but inside she is filled with a yearning for freedom and a rebelliousness toward society. Accordingly, Han Ji-hyun is expected to portray a range of ages from high school student Han Young-seo to the adult Han Young-seo who later becomes a lyricist, bringing out the fresh emotions of first love.
Recently, Han Ji-hyun left a strong impression on audiences as producer Kim Soo-jin, who, along with Im Dong-hwan (played by Park Jung-min), unravels the death of Jung Young-hee (played by Shin Hyun-bin) in the film Face (directed by Yeon Sang-ho). She previously announced that she will appear as fashion designer Song Ha-young in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama Chananran your season. In addition, by taking on the lead role in the one-act 'First love is wired earphones,' she is truly enjoying a 'casting bonanza.'
