Hyomin, a former member of the group T-ara, shared her weekend routine, and it became a topic of conversation after it was revealed that her mother-in-law is essayist Lee Sook-jin.
On the 23rd, Hyomin posted a photo on her personal account with the caption "A lazy Sunday in the study(서재에서 보내는 느긋한 일요일)".
The released photo shows Hyomin turning with a book in hand in the study of her newlywed home. Hyomin also revealed several books and added, "Sunday afternoon with the books my mother wrote.."
The books Hyomin revealed include Sunflower's Dream, The Secret Garden, Portraits of Poor Days, and Essay World 2022 autumn issue, which essayist Lee Sook-jin contributed to as an author.
Earlier, Hyomin held a wedding in April at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul with her husband, a Seoul National University industrial engineering graduate. Hyomin's husband is a finance man 10 years her senior and is known as a key figure in the global private equity (PEF) industry.
About her husband, Hyomin said, "He's not exactly a model-type, but to my eyes he's a handsome man, and I'm getting married to him," and added, "Preparing for this has made me once again realize my gratitude to those who have cared for me all this time."
In particular, the wedding dress Hyomin wore at the ceremony was the 2025 S/S Sarah Mulrady high-end wedding dress, which drew attention because only two pieces are known to exist in Korea.
Hyomin, who debuted in 2009 as part of the group T-ara, was beloved for numerous hit songs. She also worked as an actress in dramas such as My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, Gyebaek, The Hundredth Man, and in films including Parasite Spirit and Love Jinx!!!
