Actor Kim Dong-wook is going to be a father. His wife is pregnant two years after their marriage and will give birth early next year.
On the afternoon of the 24th, a representative of Kim Dong-wook's agency Studio YUHU told OSEN, "Kim Dong-wook and his wife Stella have had their first child since marriage," adding, "Wife Stella Kim is expected to give birth early next year," and released an official statement.
Earlier, Kim Dong-wook held a wedding in December 2023 at Myeongdong Cathedral in Jung-gu, Seoul with Stella Kim, a global marketer who formerly trained as an SM Entertainment trainee. At the time of the marriage announcement she was introduced only as "a talented beauty," but her identity was later revealed, drawing great interest.
Stella Kim spent her trainee years at SM Entertainment and is known to have been part of the Girls' Generation debut lineup. In fact, Girls' Generation member Choi Soo-young attended the wedding and posted a photo taken with Stella Kim, writing, "She was more beautiful than I imagined. May all blessings today be upon you. Congratulations."
On Stella Kim's social media, ties to various celebrities could be seen, including actor Jung Kyung-ho, who is Choi Soo-young's boyfriend, singer-turned-actress Jeon Hye-bin, and actor Ki Eun-se, and it was reported that stars such as actors Jung Woo-sung, Cha Tae-hyun, Yoo Hae-jin, Shin Ha-kyun, and Oh Jung-se attended the wedding in large numbers.
Meanwhile, Kim Dong-wook is set to appear in the film "The Upstairs Neighbors," which is scheduled to be released on Dec. 3.
