Actor Heo Seong-tae explained that he started acting at 35 and left a large company.

Kim Yong-man asked, "I'm curious how you decided to step into this field at 35 without studying it as a major," and Heo Seong-tae said, "At that time, it was when they promoted via ARS, so I called and they told me to try an actor audition program. Heo Seong-tae said that even after the program ended he continued taking auditions and nurtured his dream of acting. Kim Yong-man asked, "What was your annual salary at the company you were working for at the time?" Heo Seong-tae, who left a large company in 2011, said, "It was around 70 to 80 million won then. Because I was a senior assistant manager and was due to be promoted to director in a few months."
