'House On Wheels' actors Seong Dong-il and Ryu Hye-young were reunited.
On the 23rd episode of the tvN variety show House on Wheels - Beyond the Ocean: Hokkaido edition, Ryu Hye-young, the daughter of Seong Dong-il from Reply 1988, appeared.
That day, the "three siblings" Seong Dong-il, Kim Hee-won and Jang Na-ra left Biei and headed to Japan's largest caldera lake, Lake Kutcharo. They traveled a full 240 km to arrive, and Seong Dong-il worried about the guest who would come here.
The next day, Seong Dong-il hurriedly led Kim Hee-won and Jang Na-ra and went outside. He said, "With weather like this," and added, "I hope we can give them something warm to eat. If it's cold, we can also heat the house."
The guest was Ryu Hye-young. She had played Seong Dong-il's daughter in Reply 1988. She greeted him with an enthusiastic hug, calling him "dad." In response, Seong Dong-il bowed, saying "I'm sorry" to the late-arriving Ryu Hye-young, and Ryu Hye-young returned the bow, drawing attention.
