Singer BIBI completed a special soundtrack with a captivating voice.
BIBI participated in the vocals for KBS 2TV weekend drama Last Summer (written by Jeon Yu-ri, directed by Min Yeon-hong), and the seventh OST, "Bamsae," will be released today (23rd) at 6 p.m. on various online music sites.
"Bamsae" is a song that contains the speaker's desperate feelings to give everything to the other person and be entirely together, and to express deep love for the other person that can be felt without words. Meeting BIBI's dreamy yet mysterious tone completed a unique piece of music.
A calm, lyrical acoustic guitar and heavy drum sounds heighten the wistful atmosphere and are expected to recall familiar yet forgotten moments of love as if thinking of the other person alone in the deep night.
Especially, the honest lyrics "I will give you all of me / For me, you alone are enough / Now I might become a little honest / I will tell you all the words I held back" are expected to evoke deep sympathy from listeners.
The Last Summer OST was overseen in production by producer Song Dong-woon, who has been recognized as one of the country's top OST producers. Producer Song Dong-woon made hits from dramas such as Hotel Del Luna, Descendants of the Sun, It's Okay, That's Love, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Our Blues, and OSTs from Goblin including First Snow Will Fall for You, "Stay With Me", "Beautiful", and "I Miss You."
Last Summer is a remodeling romance drama in which a man and woman who have been friends since childhood confront the truth of their first love hidden in Pandora's box, and it airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
BIBI's rendition of the Last Summer OST Part.7 "Bamsae" will be available on various online music sites from 6 p.m. on the 23rd.
