Singer and actor Ariana Grande has been swept up in breakup rumors with boyfriend Ethan Slater, who faced allegations of an affair.

According to the report, Ethan Slater was asked in an interview on NBC's Today show last Friday, "How does it feel to work with your girlfriend every day?", but he dodged the question and said, "The entire cast of 'Wicked: The Musical' is unbelievably amazing."

He said, "We filmed 'Wicked' a few years ago. I haven't forgotten how incredible their performances were, and it was nice to be able to watch it with the audience," adding, "We watched screening scenes together at every premiere. It's fun because you can feel the energy."
Ethan Slater also added, "I'm really proud of everyone I worked with. We're almost like family."
Slater's ambiguous answers about Ariana Grande have drawn more attention because they came after the two appeared to distance themselves from each other on the red carpet amid breakup rumors. Neither side has commented on the matter.
