Chief state councillor Kim Han-cheol (Jin Goo) and King Lee Hee (Kim Nam-hee) ordered that the implicated eunuch be arrested to halt the scandal, and because a woman discovered to have entered hiding her identity as a eunuch could lose her life, they decided that although the soul was Lee Gang's, Park Dal-yi's body should leave the palace for a time.
Lee Gang, who had walked day and night for fear of being caught, painfully felt Park Dal-yi's long sorrow and loneliness from a life of being chased as a runaway slave.
