Jung Joon-ha again explained the "overcharging controversy."
On the 22nd episode of MBC's Hangout With Yoo, a unity workshop of the Insa-mo (association of unpopular people) members was depicted.
That day Jung Joon-ha lamented about the restaurant "overcharging controversy" mentioned by Heo Seong-tae, saying, "There was so much talk about overcharging."
In an earlier segment Heo Seong-tae revealed, "At first I went to the shop in Apgujeong. The hyung kept doing this. 'Try this too. This is tasty. It's a new product, try this too!' so I thought it was a complimentary service. When I looked at the bill, it was all there. I realized this wasn't a service," which caused a stir.
Regarding this, Jung Joon-ha explained, "Let me say it again: Seong-tae came then. He asked what he should eat since it was his first time coming. I just recommended these and those, saying they might be good," he said in explanation.
When the panelists pointed out, "Are you being serious now?", Jung Joon-ha appealed again, saying, "Of course I'm serious. I didn't overcharge anyone."
Watching this, Yoo Jae-seok warned, "This will all be reflected in the vote," and Jung Joon-ha, smiling broadly, said, "Reporters called me an unscrupulous merchant. They wrote it that way and it became a huge issue," prompting laughter.
Especially when Kim Kwang-kyu raised the suspicion of "eating without paying" by asking, "But when the food you recommended came out, did you eat it together?", Jung Joon-ha again angrily replied, "I don't remember whether I ate it or not, but if I ate it, does that mean I shouldn't be paid?"
When Yoo Jae-seok requested, "Please talk while smiling," Jung Joon-ha forced a smile and caused bursts of laughter, saying, "Ah, I can't do business like this. It's so ridiculous."
