'Taxi Driver 3' Lee Je-hoon once again created a 'legendary alter ego'.
On the 21st, the first episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver season 3 aired. The episode depicted Rainbow Transport setting out to save Yoon I-seo (played by Cha Si-yeon), who had been kidnapped by Japanese yakuza and faced the threat of human trafficking.
Ahn Go-eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) volunteered to be the Decoy and succeeded in tracking the movements of the gang that kidnapped Yoon I-seo. By tracing the vehicle's location, Rainbow Transport members discovered the lair of the yakuza boss conducting human trafficking and headed there immediately.
However, the building prohibited outside entry, and figures who appeared to be yakuza were making a scene in front of it. Ahn Go-eun clicked her tongue and said, "Aren't they all just obnoxious?" and Assistant Manager Park (played by Bae Yoo-ram) asked, "Aren't those guys yakuza too?"
In response, Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) said, "They don't seem like typical yakuza. They have no tattoos at all. They look young, too." Chief Choi (played by Jang Hyuk-jin) mentioned the Chinese characters written on the building wall, saying, "But it's kind of eerie. They stuck huge talismans on the entrance. Is there a ghost?" and Kim Do-gi explained, "It says 'no outside entry.'"
He asked, "Go-eun, if outsiders can't enter, who can take someone inside?" and Ahn Go-eun replied, "Well... insiders?" Then Kim Do-gi said, "Correct," and Ahn Go-eun wondered, "But where are the insiders?"
Kim Do-gi pointed to the group in front of the building and said, "There they are." Ahn Go-eun worried, "They look like very unfriendly insiders," but Kim Do-gi's eyes lit up when he happened to see someone wearing a 'yankii' outfit nearby.
A short while later Kim Do-gi appeared fully disguised as a Japanese 'yankii,' with his hair slicked back, a pristine special forces outfit and sunglasses, drawing attention. He timed his foot to when a yakuza spat, and when the spit got on his shoe he threatened in fluent Japanese, "Wipe it off. Those are cherished shoes. If you don't want to wipe them, 50,000 won."
The yakuza retorted, "It's because you stuck your foot out suddenly," and Kim Do-gi said, "Save the excuses," and knocked the opponent out in one blow. When a fight broke out, another yakuza inside appeared and threatened, "Don't make noise in our neighborhood; bring him in. If you want to run, run now," and Kim Do-gi replied, "What a novel excuse," provoking him.
Once inside, a yakuza said, "We don't let guys who stir up trouble in our territory go free." Kim Do-gi arrogantly responded, "Who would leave me alone? I don't think you are one of them," and asked, "Where's the boss?" The yakuza said, "Do you think someone like you would get to meet him?" and Kim Do-gi sneered, "You probably aren't good at meeting people either, huh?"
At that moment a large yakuza member appeared and set terms, saying, "If you endure five minutes I'll buy you new shoes. But if you can't endure it, I'll introduce you to a hospital you'll go to for life."
After a tough struggle, Kim Do-gi subdued and knocked out the member, then took a pen and wrote a number on the fallen member's back, taunting, "Tell your boss. When you buy new shoes call this number."<
