'Taxi Driver 3' Lee Je-hoon has begun operating in Japan.
On the 21st, the first episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver season 3 was aired. In the opening, a scene appeared that drew attention showing Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) knocking down yakuza members who were trafficking people.
Afterwards, the story of Yoon Yi-seo (played by Cha Si-yeon), who was kidnapped by the yakuza, was revealed. She barely escaped while kidnapped, happened to find a leaflet for Mujigae Transport and called from a payphone. She asked for help, saying "I'm Yoon Yi-seo, please help me," and Jang Seong-chul (played by Kim Eui-sung), who answered the call, asked, "I'll come there. Where are you now?" but Yoon Yi-seo was caught again by the yakuza who had been pursuing her and was dragged away.
After returning to Korea, Jang Seong-chul explained the situation, showing Yoon Yi-seo's student ID found in the payphone box, and Kim Do-gi said, "It would be good to find out what happened to student Yoon Yi-seo." In response, Ahn Go-eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) enthusiastically said, "Shouldn't I go to the school after all? Where's the uniform?" but Kim Do-gi said, "It's easier to talk to the students if you're a teacher," and summoned his alter ego 'teacher Hwang In-seong' to infiltrate Yoon Yi-seo's school.
At that time, Kim Do-gi heard from Yoon Yi-seo's class president that "she submitted a field trip application form saying she's going to camp." Meanwhile, Jang Seong-chul, who visited Yoon Yi-seo's grandmother, said, "At home we thought she had gone to a boarding academy," and added, "It seems about ten days have passed since she left, lying to both home and school."
Then Kim Do-gi noticed a gaze watching him and caught Oh Ye-ji as she tried to run away and heard her story. It turned out that Yoon Yi-seo had been led into mobile illegal gambling at Oh Ye-ji's urging and became increasingly addicted to gambling to raise money for her grandmother's eye surgery. She agreed to the terms to participate in an event called "Point Miri Dream," but that "Miri Dream" was in fact loan shark debt.
Ahn Go-eun said, "The miri dream event they received while playing the game is a loan. They split a 300,000-won loan into 100,000-won units to contract it," and Jang Seong-chul said, "Under current law, loans under 100,000 won have no interest limit. They took advantage of that." The annual interest rate on the loan they actually contracted was 5,000%. Jang Seong-chul said, "Any loan contract made with minors is illegal anyway," and Chief Choi (played by Jang Hyuk-jin) wondered, "If it's illegal, isn't it void?" Kim Do-gi explained the reason they couldn't tell anyone: "It wouldn't be easy to know the truth until someone told them. They did gamble, after all."
Ultimately, Oh Ye-ji and Yoon Yi-seo, chased by threats from loan sharks, decided to accept a loan shark's offer saying, "Go to Japan and work for a month and we'll forgive the interest and principal," but in the end only Yoon Yi-seo went to Japan. Oh Ye-ji tearfully pleaded, "The day we planned to leave together I got caught by my father and even had my phone taken, so I couldn't contact Yi-seo. It's all my fault. Because of me Yi-seo became like that. I was too scared to tell anyone. Please find my friend," she begged.
Mujigae Transport, united in its determination to root out the organization that dragged students into the quagmire, began full-scale action. Kim Do-gi said, "Starting trip 5283," and drove out in a new car, and Ahn Go-eun said, "This is footage of the people who took Yi-seo at the port. But if they were in debt, why did they send them abroad?" Chief Choi said, "Sending them to Japan must be more profitable," and Ahn Go-eun said, "The two who left together returned soon after. They were moved like deliveries. They could be simple transporters," and added, "If it's okay, can you leave this to me this time? I have a method," her eyes shining.
Later Ahn Go-eun suggested to Oh Ye-ji, "Could you send me the mobile game URL you sent to Yi-seo too?" and intentionally continued gambling until she lost all her money and had to meet the loan sharks. When she met the loan sharks, Ahn Go-eun pretended to fall into their plan on purpose.
Back at Mujigae Transport, Ahn Go-eun said, "It was a company chain called Neco Money. The founding and operating funds all came from Japan. The mobile game was also made in Japan," and Jang Seong-chul instructed, "A private finance office established with Japanese funds. They made the gambling game. They send the children who fell into debt there to Japan? Put aside the ominous loan company for now and let's focus on finding student Yi-seo."
Just then, Ahn Go-eun, who received a call from a loan shark asking her to come to the ferry terminal, headed there, and the Mujigae Transport members followed to Japan. Ahn Go-eun entered a suspicious building in a waiting car, but communications were cut off by a signal-blocking wall. In the end, Kim Do-gi ran into the building himself and subdued the yakuza, and he encountered Ahn Go-eun, who had just knocked out a yakuza trying to take her belongings. There they found walls covered with photos of women and suitcases.
Kim Do-gi threatened a yakuza at the scene to ask about Yoon Yi-seo's whereabouts, and the yakuza said, "I only send people and erase their identity and traces. I don't know about what comes after that." When asked "How is the money delivered?" he explained, "A car always comes and loads the cash and leaves. If you check that car you can find out. That's all I know."
Ahn Go-eun said, "I took a picture of the license plate of the car that brought me," immediately did location tracking, and the Mujigae Transport members, including Kim Do-gi, moved to the building they identified through tracking. To sneak into the building where outsiders were banned, they disguised themselves like delinquents and caused a disturbance using the excuse "my shoes got dirty" to get inside, then after defeating the yakuza members they left a contact saying, "Tell your oyabun (boss). When you buy new shoes, call this number," and departed. Later, a scene showing oyabun Matsuda Keita (played by Kasamatsu Sho) hearing about Kim Do-gi from his subordinate was shown, adding to the intrigue.
