Singer Kyu-hyun's season has arrived.
Kyu-hyun released the EP 'The Classic' on the 20th, and the album immediately topped the iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in 10 countries and regions worldwide, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Riding the enthusiastic response from global fans, "The Classic" entered the worldwide iTunes album chart at No. 9, proving Kyu-hyun's enduring popularity.
It also achieved notable results on domestic charts. The title track "Like the First Snow" reignited interest in ballads by reaching No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart, one of the country's major music charts. The song also entered the upper ranks of the Melon HOT100.
Listeners responded to Kyu-hyun's brand of ballads. "Singer Kyu-hyun's season has arrived," "The song I'll think of first when the first snow falls," "The song smells of winter," "In autumn it's 'At Gwanghwamun', in winter it's 'Like the First Snow'," "It evokes a bittersweet memory of first love," and other comments formed a broad consensus, raising expectations for continued momentum.
'The Classic' is Kyu-hyun's new album presented about a year after his full-length album 'COLORS', released in November last year. It consists of five ballads that evoke a classic sensibility, and Kyu-hyun precisely conveyed the emotional arc of each song, delivering the inherent aesthetics of the ballad intact.

The show sold out all seats within five minutes of ticket opening, demonstrating Kyu-hyun's exceptional ticket power.
