Singer Sung Si-kyung opened up for the first time after experiencing financial betrayal by a former manager who had been with him for a long time.
On the 21st, Sung Si-kyung released the video Sung Si-kyung SUNG SI KYUNG: Sung Si-kyung's muktende / Myeongdong Haenghwachon on his YouTube channel.
In the video, Sung Si-kyung, wearing a mask, appeared looking somewhat gaunt and drew attention. After entering a Chinese restaurant and placing his order, he poured beer into a cup and cautiously began to speak.
I think I'm kind of that type of person. As regular listeners know, once I start something, I tend not to let it go. It's both a strength and a weakness, he began, and continued, "It's not that 'muktende' is like that. I enjoy this a lot; it feels like radio. While tasting the ordered food and continuing the review, Sung Si-kyung confessed for the first time to his feelings at the time he was scammed by his manager, saying, "Since an article must have come out, I'll say this: it was really hard at first."
Sung Si-kyung said, "Going through that made me realize how much I love this channel. I don't know if it showed or not, but the fact that I kept it up means I have that much affection. Anyway, I will get through this well and prepare thoroughly for the year-end concert. I'll drink only when I do 'muktende' and get my body in good shape to do my best."
Earlier, Sung Si-kyung parted ways with a manager who had worked with him for about 10 years over financial issues. The former manager is reported to have committed fraud involving hundreds of millions of won by secretly diverting some VIP tickets during performance-related duties and transferring the revenue from reselling them into his wife's account.
Meanwhile, Sung Si-kyung is scheduled to hold year-end concerts Dec. 25–28 at the Seoul Olympic Park KSPO Dome.<
