Choi Seong-eun and Kim Gun-woo's pink-hued date was spotted.
Episodes 7 and 8 of the KBS2 weekend miniseries Last Summer (writer Jeon Yu-ri, director Min Yeon-hong, produced by Monster Union, Slingshot Studios), airing at 9:20 p.m. on the 22nd and 23rd, will brightly color living rooms with the episodes of Song Ha-gyeong (Choi Seong-eun), Seo Su-hyeok (Kim Gun-woo) and Baek Do-ha (Lee Jae-wook), who is caught between them.
Earlier, Ha-gyeong met Su-hyeok feeling upset after arguing with Do-ha. Su-hyeok listened sincerely to Ha-gyeong's worries and offered warm advice to comfort her. He then did not hide his attraction to Ha-gyeong and formally proposed dating her, causing a major shift in the 17-year relationship between Do-ha and Ha-gyeong.
The stills released on the 21st ahead of episode 7 capture Do-ha's, Ha-gyeong's and Su-hyeok's crossed emotions intact.
First, Ha-gyeong and Su-hyeok capture attention with visuals like a watercolor painting. Walking side by side against the backdrop of a hanok village, the two wear comfortable smiles toward each other that make viewers' hearts flutter. In particular, in the still of them sitting facing each other and drinking tea, Ha-gyeong's changed mood and Su-hyeok's honeyed gaze as he looks at her suggest that their relationship advanced rapidly after the recent confession.
By contrast, Do-ha, who witnessed their tender moment, exudes a completely different mood. Do-ha becomes hyperaware, wondering what Su-hyeok, who visited the peanut house, is doing with Ha-gyeong in the room. Do-ha's usual coolness is nowhere to be seen as he walks with his lips pressed shut, revealing an uncontrollable jealous instinct that is both amusing and aching. As Do-ha's feelings for Ha-gyeong grow, curiosity increases about how he will react to Su-hyeok and Ha-gyeong's romance.
The Last Summer production team said, "As Su-hyeok's straightforward romance begins, a spring breeze blows between him and Ha-gyeong, but a fierce storm will rage in Do-ha's heart as he watches," and added, "Watch how the increasingly deep, crossed love triangle will act as a catalyst for future developments and how the three people's emotions change."
Episode 7 of the KBS2 weekend miniseries Last Summer will air at 9:20 p.m. on the 22nd.
