The newly reborn 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project "Love: Track" will knock on living room doors this winter.
2025 KBS 2TV one-act project "Love: Track" is a romance anthology containing 10 love stories of different shapes. KBS, which has carried on the tradition of one-act plays for 41 years, is introducing a new one-act project "Love: Track" that continues the lineage of the existing "drama special." From Dec. 14 to 28, two episodes will be released each week on Sunday at 10:50 p.m. and Wednesday at 9:50 p.m., a total of 10 stories, promising viewers a short but intense playlist of love at the end of the year.
KBS's one-act series, which began in 1984 as "Drama Game," is the only domestic broadcaster to maintain a regular slot while discovering new writers, directors and actors, expanding the foundation of the Korean drama industry. The newly introduced 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project "Love: Track" inherits this tradition and is a romance anthology that condenses the most universal yet still unfamiliar emotion of "love" into a 30-minute format. It expands the spectrum of the emotion of love by unfolding dating and breakups, unrequited love, familial love, as well as elderly, single-by-choice and minority loves, in the flexible form unique to short films.
First, on Dec. 14 (Sun) at 10:50 p.m., "Onion Soup after Work" (directed by Lee Young-seo, written by Lee Seon-hwa) and "First love is a pair of earphones" (directed by Jung Kwang-soo, written by Jung Hyo) will open the 2025 one-act project "Love: Track."
Then on Dec. 17 (Wed) at 9:50 p.m., "Love Hotel" (directed by Bae Eun-hye, written by Park Min-jung) and "On the night the wolf disappeared" (directed by Jung Kwang-soo, written by Lee Seon-hwa) will air, and on Dec. 21 (Sun) at 10:50 p.m., "There is no man to carry my father's coffin" (directed by Bae Eun-hye, written by Yeom Bo-ra) and "kimchi" (directed by Lee Young-seo, written by Kang-han) will be broadcast.
On Dec. 24 (Wed) at 9:50 p.m., "The love of one star" (directed by Jung Kwang-soo, written by Lee Sa-ha) and "Min-ji Min-ji Min-ji" (directed by Lee Young-seo, written by Choi Yi-kyung) will air, and on Dec. 28 (Sun) at 10:50 p.m., "Conditions for love subscription" (directed by Bae Eun-hye, written by Kang Jung-in) and "A soundtrack that does not exist in the world" (directed by Guh Seong-jun, written by Yoo So-won) will be released back to back, concluding the season. The 10 works organically connect like a playlist based on different emotions and narratives, completing independent and dense stories that are hard to see in feature films through various directorial senses and characters.
The production team said, "The 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project 'Love: Track' is a collection of short films that interpret the emotion of love from different perspectives. We will once again show the power unique to one-act plays to convey deeper and clearer emotions in a short time," and added, "We hope the 10 love stories, each on a different track, will remain long in the hearts of viewers."
Meanwhile, the 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project "Love: Track" will premiere on Dec. 14 (Sun) at 10:50 p.m., and a total of 10 episodes will be played every Sunday at 10:50 p.m. and Wednesday at 9:50 p.m. until Dec. 28.
