Group TWICE member Chaeyoung and rapper sokodomo collaborated on a song that is being released today (20th).
TWICE Chaeyoung is featured on sokodomo's new song "WAKE UP (Feat. CHAEYOUNG of TWICE)" (Wake Up (featuring TWICE Chaeyoung)), which will be released at 6 p.m. on the 20th. She previously worked with sokodomo on a track included on her first full-length album "LIL FANTASY vol.1" (Lil Fantasy volume 1), released on Sept. 12, creating synergy, and interest from domestic and international listeners has been focused on the renewed collaboration between the two artists.
"WAKE UP (Feat. CHAEYOUNG of TWICE)" is the title track of sokodomo's new release "SCORPIO000-^" (Scorpio), and contains a message of freeing oneself from others' gazes and moving toward the life one wants. As a song that offers warm encouragement to those who feel fatigue and anxiety at the end of the year, Chaeyoung's vocals are expected to deliver deep emotional consolation.
Chaeyoung showcased her musical abilities by not only releasing her solo full-length debut "LIL FANTASY vol.1" colored with her unique personality and sensibility, but also by writing and composing several songs for TWICE. Expanding her range through collaborations with prominent musicians, Chaeyoung has shown a broad spectrum and distinctive charms as an artist, and attention is focused on her future moves.
TWICE, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, continue to expand their influence with relentless momentum. Their fourth full-length album released in July, "THIS IS FOR" (This Is For), and the special album released in October, "TEN: The Story Goes On" (Ten: The Story Goes On), ranked high on the Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200," and they set the record as the first K-pop girl group to have a total of 10 albums enter that chart. The Netflix original soundtrack for "K-pop Demon Hunters," "TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)" (Takedown (Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung)) and the track "Strategy" from mini album 14 have charted long-term on Billboard's main chart "Hot 100," enjoying sustained popularity.
TWICE are meeting audiences around the world with solo concerts at home and abroad as part of their largest world tour "THIS IS FOR." They will move on to Kaohsiung on the 22nd and 23rd to continue the tour's momentum.
