The SBS program My Grumpy Secretary, airing this Friday at 11:10 p.m., will feature actor Jo Jung-suk as the seventh "my star" grants.
In the earlier Ji Chang-wook x Do Kyung-soo episode, Lee Seo-jin suggested to YouTuber "Jo Jeom-seok," "Would you like to take our manager for a try?", and Jo Jeom-seok replied, "I'm Jeom-seok, so I'll ask Mr. Jeong-seok," a scene that led to an actual casting and raised expectations even before the broadcast. Among viewers, reactions such as "It looks like Jo Jeom-seok's contact was reached" and "It's fun when a male junior appears, as expected" continued, drawing attention.
Jo Jung-suk proved once again that he is a box-office guarantee, succeeding with films such as "Exit" and "Pilot" and also with "My Daughter is a Zombie." Not only a trusted actor, he has been recognized for his singing ability through numerous musicals and OSTs, and this time he embarks on his first nationwide tour concert. My Grumpy Secretary will closely follow the concert rehearsal scenes.
In the rehearsal room with My Grumpy Secretary, Jo Jung-suk reportedly heated the emotions of Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu by performing live "Aroha," the OST from Hospital Playlist that topped Korea's largest music site Melon 20 times and reached No. 3 on the annual chart, along with some concert songs.
How the unpredictable fate of "my star" Jo Jung-suk will unfold amid My Grumpy Secretary's unique caregiving will be revealed on the 21st at 11:10 p.m. on SBS' My Grumpy Secretary.
