Actor Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina released their marriage after 10 years of public dating, but everything except the venue — such as the emcee, officiant and congratulatory songs — is shrouded in secrecy.
On the 20th, a representative of AM Entertainment, the agency of Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina, told OSEN "Regarding the marriage of actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina, other than the date and the venue nothing has been decided so far. The emcee, officiant and congratulatory songs have not been decided," and withheld further comment.
Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina announced their marriage through their agency that morning. AM Entertainment released an official statement saying "Shin Mina and Kim Woo-bin, based on the deep trust they have built through a long relationship, promised to become each other's life partner," and added "We ask that you send warm support and blessings for the future of the two people who made this important life decision, and both will continue to faithfully carry out their duties as actors and strive to repay the love they have received."
Shin Mina and Kim Woo-bin went public with their relationship in 2015. Later, Kim Woo-bin was diagnosed with the rare cancer nasopharyngeal carcinoma in 2017, but Shin Mina quietly stood by him until he was declared fully recovered in 2019, which warmed many hearts.
For that reason, their marriage announcement drew great public interest. According to their agency, they will hold their wedding on Dec. 20 at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.
However, following the sudden marriage announcement, no information other than the venue has been released. As a result, Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina's wedding is generating even more curiosity.<
