Singer Yoon Jong-shin paid tribute on the 30th anniversary of the death of the late Kim Sung-jae.
On the 20th, Yoon Jong-shin posted a photo of the late Kim Sung-jae on his social media and used Deux's "Only to You" as background music.
He then wrote, "Are you well? Today marks 30 years since Sung-jae left us," remembering a colleague who suddenly passed away and conveying his feelings of longing.
The late Kim Sung-jae died on Nov. 20, 1995, at age 24. At the time, Kim Sung-jae enjoyed great popularity as a member of Deux, but his sudden death—found dead in a hotel—shocked the public.
According to the police at the time, the cause of death was the animal anesthetic Zoletil, and 28 injection marks were found on the corpse, leaving various suspicions. Even on the 30th anniversary of his death, only mystery remains, and Kim Sung-jae's death remains a suspicious death.
Kim Sung-jae debuted in 1993 as part of the duo Deux with Lee Hyun-do and produced many hits such as "In the Summer," "Look Back at Me," and "We."
