Singer Lee Mu-jin has joined Melon's 'Billions Club'.
According to his agency Big Planet Made Entertainment, Lee Mu-jin earned the "Billions bronze club" badge after surpassing 1 billion cumulative streams on Melon, the country's largest music platform.
Melon's "Billions Club" is a system that assigns ranks based on cumulative streaming, and a bronze badge is awarded when an artist reaches 1 billion streams. This record shows that Lee Mu-jin has solidified his position as a "trusted singer-songwriter".
Lee Mu-jin established himself as a music powerhouse with consecutive hits including his debut song "Traffic Light," "Episode," and "It's Snowing (Feat. Heize)." In particular, these three songs each surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on the Circle Chart, the country's official music chart, earning platinum certification.
Also, in May he released the digital single "Baepsae," once again solidifying the so-called "Lee Mu-jin genre." "Baepsae" drew heavy consolation and empathy from listeners with its dramatically unfolding band sound, Lee Mu-jin's sincere vocals, and relatable lyrics. He also proved his producing ability by participating as a producer on works by several artists, including Davichi's "Time Capsule," Lee Chang-seop's "Jururu," and BIG Naughty's "Bye Bye."
Having achieved various successes this year, Lee Mu-jin confirmed he will hold the year-end small theater concert "2025 Lee Mu-jin small theater concert [Today's, eMUtion (Imusion)]" (hereafter "Today's, Imusion") and is preparing to meet fans. The concert is expected to showcase Lee Mu-jin's unique wit and candid energy, different from his regular brand concert "Supplement."
Lee Mu-jin's small theater concert "Today's, Imusion" will be held at Mesa Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul for four shows beginning Dec. 20, with performances on the 21st, 24th and 25th, and tickets go on sale today (19th) at 7 p.m. on NOL Ticket.
