Singer Kim Heung-guk left a message of support for Park Mi-seon, who revealed she is battling breast cancer.
On the 17th, Kim Heung-guk posted a shorts video titled "Cheer for Park Mi-seon, stay healthy, fighting" on his YouTube channel "Deuridae TV."
In the video, Kim Heung-guk stood in front of the camera with a somewhat gaunt face and began cautiously, saying, "Park Mi-seon, I'm sorry."
Kim Heung-guk said, "I heard the news, but big brother can't do anything — only my heart is with you," expressing regret. He then mentioned Park Mi-seon's appearance on tvN's You Quiz on the Block and offered sincere support, saying, "I saw her responding strongly, her resilient side as a mother, and even her shaved head. I shaved my head too. I'd like to see her once."
He referred to the past program they hosted together, "Kim Heung-guk·Park Mi-seon's Special Show," and added, "We worked together for 15 years. I hope she meets fans in good health soon and resumes active work like before. I wish her health and happiness always."
Kim Heung-guk recently announced he was halting political activities and returning to his primary career. Last month his agency said, "We will put political talk aside and return as singer and broadcaster Kim Heung-guk." Interest has intensified because this is his first message of support for Park Mi-seon since announcing his return.
