Mukbang creator Tzuyang revealed behind-the-scenes details of the national audit.
On the 19th, a video titled Tzuyang | "They say I'm Tzuyang...they say I'm Chinese(?) lol" | cyber wrecker, fake news clarification, 30-serving mukbang, how to shoot thumbnails, behind the scenes of the national audit was posted on the YouTube channel 'Naraesik'.
On that day Park Narae asked Tzuyang, who has 12.7 million subscribers, "Do even top YouTubers get happy or upset over views?" Tzuyang said, "It's even worse. For me, views really kind of dictate my mood that day."
Park Narae said, "Even though you're doing so well?" in surprise, and Tzuyang said, "I'm very happy and grateful during the process of doing well, but the downward process is so painful you can hardly bear to watch. Nothing gets booked all day. You suddenly feel like you've failed, and you get that feeling. I get seriously up and down about it."
In particular, Tzuyang recalled the time she appeared at the national audit because of cyber wreckers. When Park Narae said, "Putting aside malicious comments, things like fake news..." Tzuyang said, "At first I thought I would just have to endure it. Because it's a profession that makes money from people's attention, I thought I should put up with this. But then I wondered, has this crossed the line and do I really have to deal with false information?"
Hearing this, Park Narae encouraged her, saying, "That's not the case. The important thing is that we grew by receiving the public's love, and we are truly grateful and made money and gained reputation, but I don't think we grew by feeding on the love of the people who wrote those posts."
In the end, Tzuyang said she decided to confront the cyber wreckers and said, "So I'm fighting hard."
Then Park Narae asked, "Is the atmosphere intense when you go to the national audit?" Tzuyang said, "My heart almost literally popped out of my mouth there. I was like, 'I'm so nervous, what do I do? Am I saying this right or not?' I couldn't really think and answered like that."
She added, "The atmosphere was really tense, and there had been an argument that day so there was some dispute, and it happened that mine was up next so I was even more nervous. So I was holding my heart and did it."
However, malicious comments were left even on the national audit video. Tzuyang said, "The video went up and many comments said things like 'pretending to be nice and innocent,' which hurt me a bit," and she vented, "Why don't they go out there themselves? How nervous it must be..."
