Singer and actor Minseo returns to the screen with the film "Manhole."
The film "Manhole," which opened on the 19th, is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by author Park Jiri, and portrays a deep thriller drama in which high school student Sun-oh (played by Kim Junho), who lives his daily life carrying a hardened wound, encounters unexpected events and falls into a dilemma.
In "Manhole," Minseo gives a passionate performance as Cha Heeju, an 18-year-old who is Sun-oh's girlfriend and dreams of becoming a beautician. She delicately portrays a character who is strong and deeply thoughtful as well as spirited and warm, maximizing immersion and expected to leave a strong impression on audiences.
Minseo earlier began her full-fledged acting career with the web dramas "It's okay to be a little sensitive season 2" and "Anyway, anniversary." She then expanded her acting range by challenging her first terrestrial network drama on KBS2 "Imitation," and recently showcased steady acting skills through the Wavve original "The fourth love revolution," making an impression on viewers.
In addition, Minseo successfully debuted on the screen last year with the film "1980," further solidifying her filmography. Having steadily pursued acting and shown growth in each work, curiosity is growing about what she will show through "Manhole."
Minseo, who has made her mark as a "multi-tainer" by continuing activities across music, variety shows, drama, and film, is attracting attention for "Manhole," where she will fully demonstrate her accumulated experience and depth and prove a wide acting spectrum.
