The group CORTIS was invited to the halftime show of a Korea national team match and demonstrated an influence befitting the title "rookie of the year".
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) adorned the halftime show of the Korea national football team's A match against Ghana held at 8 p.m. on the 18th at Seoul World Cup Stadium. They were invited to this event as advertising models for KT, the official sponsor of the Korea national football team.
CORTIS delivered an overwhelming performance and made a strong impression. In particular, the match attracted a lot of attention as it was the national team's last A match of the year. The five members appeared wearing outfits made by reforming the anthem jackets actually worn by the national team, drawing attention from the start.
They raised the atmosphere by consecutively performing their debut album title track "What You Want" and the intro track "GO!". The performance across the vast stadium was enough to heat up the crowd's cheering despite the winter cold. The members adapted the choreography to show a ball-kicking–like performance, which drew great response from football fans. In particular, when the chorus of "GO!" rang out, cheers erupted at the scene, making the song's popular appeal tangible.
CORTIS plans to cement their position as "rookie of the year" by sweeping year-end award shows and broadcasts, including the "2025 MAMA AWARDS" at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on the 28th–29th, the "10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025" at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan on Dec. 6, and the "2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon" at Incheon Inspire Arena on Dec. 25.
