Actor Lee Si-young smiled with joy at her children's deep sibling affection even while caring for her second child.
On the 19th Lee Si-young posted several photos to her social account. After her divorce, facing a schedule to store frozen embryos and prepared to become pregnant and give birth alone, Lee Si-young gave birth to a daughter on Nov. 6. She was smiling brightly while holding the newborn who was less than two weeks old.
Lee Si-young said, "How many nights have I been staying up... It's been so long since I've cared for a newborn that my body is breaking down haha, but I keep smiling all day — real second children must be love," showing a satisfied smile. At 43 by Korean age this year, Lee Si-young medically fell clearly into the high-risk maternal age group, but she had shown off exceptional muscles honed through exercise and hiking and boasted stamina across various dramas and variety shows. Before this second birth she flew to Australia and even completed a marathon while heavily pregnant, but solo parenting was nevertheless difficult. Even so, she wore a bright smile.
Lee Si-young said, "And the second child's fate that began the moment I got home from the postpartum care center and the unexpected real love from my older son Jung-yun, who loves them so much — the three of us are starting construction on our new home," sharing her son's reaction along with the news of a home remodel.
Internet users expressed admiration, saying, "Doing newborn care alone is really hard," "Still, ironclad stamina!" and "Remodeling construction on top of that — you really have terrifying stamina."
Meanwhile, earlier this year Lee Si-young announced her divorce, issuing an official statement that she was ending eight years of marriage. Lee Si-young also appeared in the drama ENA (Salon de Holmes).
