LE SSERAFIM, who achieved "entry into Tokyo Dome" 3 years and 6 months after debut, expressed gratitude to fans and shared their determination for the future.
LE SSERAFIM met with reporters ahead of the final performance of '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR "EASY CRAZY HOT" ENCORE IN TOKYO DOME' on the 19th at Tokyo Dome in Japan and took time for interviews.
When asked about her feelings on entering Tokyo Dome, Heo Yunjin said, "This is a stage we dreamed of since debut, so it is extremely meaningful. I think this stage was given by PIONEERS rather than something we came to by working hard. So while preparing for this performance we talked about giving PIONEERS an unforgettable show and worked hard. I think I will never forget these two days for the rest of my life. It's such a huge stage for us that it still doesn't feel real and I'm just so grateful that we could come to Tokyo Dome," expressing overwhelming emotion.
Kim Chaewon also said, "Because Tokyo Dome is something we've dreamed about for a long time, I felt excited, nervous and a sense of responsibility. We finished the first performance yesterday, and when I saw so many PIONEERS filling the seats I was really, really surprised and only then did it feel real. I want to say again that thanks to PIONEERS we could come to Tokyo Dome, and we are grateful," she said.
Tokyo Dome held even more special meaning for Kazuha and Sakura, who are from Japan. Kazuha said, "I thought Tokyo Dome was something very far from me. I had the awareness that it was a really big and meaningful stage, but after challenging a new path I think I stood on such a big stage in a personally very short time. I think this is all thanks to the members and to PIONEERS who always support us. We still have many shortcomings, but I approached this wanting to do my best now and create a stage that will entertain everyone," she confessed.
Sakura added, "I heard the last time I came to Tokyo Dome was 11 years ago. I was 16 then, so I didn't know anything and was just following the seniors. I did idol activities for a long time and experienced many things, but being able to be at Tokyo Dome together with the members and PIONEERS may become a big page in my life," she said.
She said, "For singers, Tokyo Dome is really not an easy place to get to. There is also a venue in Japan called Budokan, and there are stages step by step. Tokyo Dome is the largest among them and a place to fulfill dreams. I think it was really fast and I'm grateful that we could come here in three years," showing her emotion.
Perhaps because of that, LE SSERAFIM performed for more than three hours in the first show held the day before. Sakura said, "Two years ago we performed at Tokyo Dome for an awards ceremony. At that time I casually wondered, 'How would it feel if PIONEERS were here?' That happened two years later. I was excited and very moved to be able to spend a happy time in a space just for LE SSERAFIM and PIONEERS," she said.
When asked what they talked about after finishing the first show, Kim Chaewon explained, "After a show we always give each other feedback. Because it's a stage we've dreamed about for so long, we discussed things to improve to make it perfect, and we talked a lot about how the stage was so we could finish today's performance well."
They also described the preparation process for the Tokyo Dome show. Heo Yunjin said, "We prepared a new setlist different from the usual one. There were stages we haven't shown in a long time and songs we presented live for the first time. We prepared with excitement and anticipation, wondering how PIONEERS would react as we had fun learning them," she said.
When asked whether there was a special "kick" stage prepared only for Tokyo Dome, Kim Chaewon hinted, "We recently made a comeback with 'Spaghetti' and prepared a special 'Spaghetti' performance. I hope people pay attention to that part."
LE SSERAFIM conquered Tokyo Dome, a dream that is not easy for singers to achieve, in about three years after debut. Asked about the next step, Hong Eunchae said, "Rather than saying where we want to go next, seeing that we made it to Tokyo Dome makes me feel grateful and gives me hope that any new dream could arise if we're together with PIONEERS. It made me feel even more positive that we can do anything," she confessed.
What LE SSERAFIM accomplished in 3 years and 6 months is not limited to entering Tokyo Dome. They have repeatedly grown in skills such as singing and performance. Heo Yunjin responded to such evaluations, "I feel more responsibility. Our goal is to keep growing and show even cooler sides of ourselves. We want to show ourselves confidently without being too hung up, and hearing these things gives me more responsibility and energy to work harder," she vowed.
News of LE SSERAFIM's entry into Tokyo Dome filled the area around the venue with PIONEERS of all ages who came from various places. When Kim Chaewon was asked about the secret to capturing fans across a wide age range, she said, "While touring I felt our fans' ages were diverse. Grandfathers came to cheer and many babies came too. I thought it was amazing that our feelings reached people of various ages, and it made me think that sincerity reaches anyone, so I felt once again that we should continue to act with an even more sincere heart."
The relationships among members are also one of LE SSERAFIM's 'reasons to fall for them.' Hong Eunchae said, "Our backgrounds are surprisingly different, yet we fit together remarkably well. Doing the Tokyo Dome show made me feel that we've all run hard with one heart," and she expressed gratitude, "We talk a lot among ourselves and seem to have become closer, and many people recognize that and like our chemistry."
Finally, Heo Yunjin expressed deep feelings for fans who cherish them more than anyone: "Among our album tracks there's a song called "Pearlies (My oyster is the world)." I named it as the opposite of the debut track 'The World Is My Oyster.' 'The World Is My Oyster' is a bold phrase meaning 'the world is mine; I will conquer it and make it mine,' but by reversing it I made a song that says 'what I have is the world; what I have is my everything.' That song is for PIONEERS. Just as an irritant entering a shell becomes a pearl after great pain, no matter what happens it will eventually become something good and my own pearl. I wrote the song with that thought, and I think that pearl would be our PIONEERS," she conveyed.
