"Taxi Driver 3" lead actors expressed expectations about winning year-end awards.
On the afternoon of the 18th at the SBS building in Mok-dong, Yangcheon District, Seoul, an SBS Friday-Saturday drama production presentation for "Taxi Driver 3" was held. Director Kang Bo-seung and actors Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram attended the production presentation and spoke.
"Taxi Driver 3" is a private revenge drama about the veil-shrouded taxi company Rainbow Transportation and taxi driver Kim Do-ki (Lee Je-hoon) carrying out revenge on behalf of wronged victims.
That day Lee Je-hoon, asked whether he had expectations of winning awards since the show airs with year-end awards approaching, cautiously opened by saying, "First, we are actually continuing to film. So even after the broadcast starts, filming will continue, and I think we'll feel these emotions only after it's wrapped up."
He continued, "Still..." and said, "Well, to be honest, I wasn't thinking about it at all so I'm a bit embarrassed, but the important thing is that the five of us from Rainbow Transportation and the director will probably be sitting together at the awards tables and may see several trophies. Personally, I have that kind of expectation. Not only me but the actors performed so stylishly and truly lovingly. I would be really happy if one of those trophies belonged to me," revealing his honest expectations.
Especially when the possibility of the "Juimz" best couple award was mentioned, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram said, "We're aiming for it," and "We really want it," expressing their eagerness and drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, "Taxi Driver 3" will premiere on the 21st at 9:50 p.m.
