Winner's Kang Seung-yoon revealed behind-the-scenes stories of an Australia trip with Superstar K2 members such as singers Heo Gak and John Park on 'Save Me! Homes'.
On the 20th, MBC's variety show 'Save Me! Homes' (abbreviated 'Homes') will feature Kang Seung-yoon of the group Winner leaving on a romantic, full-of-feelings location visit.
This episode sets out on an emotional location visit with music to hold on to the shortened end of autumn. Kim Sook explained, "Autumn is getting shorter. There are actually statistics that summer has become a month longer and autumn has become 10 days shorter," and said they prepared the emotional location visit to properly feel the increasingly shorter autumn. The romantic, full-of-feelings location visit includes singer Kang Seung-yoon, team leader Kim Sook of the deok team and Joo Woo-jae together.
Before the full-fledged location visit, Kang Seung-yoon, who appeared in the studio, introduced the title track 'ME(美)' of his recently released solo second full-length album. He described it as synth-pop rock with a beautiful melody and sang the new song to the impromptu accompaniment of the 'Homes' coordinators. On the perfect collaboration stage, Jang Dong-min joked, "Call us as your session at your concert," eliciting laughter.
Kang Seung-yoon revealed that he organized his lodging life during leave while serving in the military last year. When asked what style he decorated his home in, he said, "I decorated it in midcentury style. I mixed metal decor with a cozy feel." He went on to confess that he ambitiously set up an independent dream hobby room with a recliner sofa, LPs and photos, but used it only about five times.
He also revealed behind-the-scenes stories of a recent Australia trip with his 'Superstar K2' colleagues. He said, "Kim Ji-soo made a group chat and suggested we take even a domestic trip, but through John Park's personal channel it suddenly escalated into an Australia trip. We even ended up meeting Hollywood stars and doing interviews with them."
Joo Woo-jae asked Kang Seung-yoon, "When you travel, is the order in which wallets open determined by rank? By age?" To this Kang Seung-yoon replied, "Coincidentally, Heo Gak, who placed first, is the eldest. I also want to buy things, but since Heo Gak hyung said he'd pay," and he trailed off.
Kang Seung-yoon headed with Kim Sook and Joo Woo-jae to Jongno District in Seoul, where autumn can be felt best. Before the opening, Kim Sook told Kang Seung-yoon, "Seung-yoon, seeing you today is like a concert. Lim Young-woong sang 17 songs and John Park sang 25 songs before leaving." To this, Kang Seung-yoon said, "I have an inferiority complex toward John Park. John Park is second and I was fourth. If John Park sang 25 songs, I could even do 40 songs," expressing his ambition and drawing attention. It airs Thursday the 20th at 10 p.m.
