'Taxi Driver 3' Kim Eui-sung expressed his thoughts on the 'mastermind theory' that has followed him for five years.
On the afternoon of the 18th at the SBS building in Mok-dong, Yangcheon District, Seoul, an SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3' production press conference was held. Director Kang Bo-seung and actors Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram attended the press conference and talked.
'Taxi Driver 3' is a private revenge agency drama in which the taxi company Rainbow Transportation, shrouded in mystery, and taxi driver Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon) complete revenge on behalf of wronged victims.
Kim Eui-sung plays Jang Seong-chul, CEO of Rainbow Transportation. He has played a virtuous role since season 1, standing on the side of crime victims and helping them. However, given his passionate portrayals of villains in various works, there are still viewers who push the 'Jang Seong-chul mastermind theory' and suspect his betrayal.
Reacting to this amusing response, Kim Eui-sung candidly said, "It makes me reflect on the kind of life I've lived," drawing laughter.
He said, "It's been almost five years since season 1, and many people still suspect me. When some still cuts from season 3 were released, there were people who said I was spraying water with a hose and 'smiling while shooting.' You can't turn someone inside out like a sock and show them," and added, "Please watch. If you keep watching with suspicion, something will probably happen, right? Please give it a try," raising expectations.
Meanwhile, 'Taxi Driver 3' will premiere on the 21st at 9:50 p.m.
