Is recently separated actor Tom Cruise looking for a new crush?
Sixty-three-year-old Tom Cruise was photographed laughing heartily with 28-year-old actress Sydney Sweeney just weeks after his split from Ana de Armas, who is 26 years his junior.
According to Page Six on the 17th (local time), Cruise at the '2025 Governors Awards' held Sunday in Los Angeles engaged in playful conversation with Sydney Sweeney. Their interaction was shared via a video Variety posted on social media.
In the video, while standing with a group of friends, Sydney Sweeney tells Cruise she has never driven a boat and said, "and I don't want to." Cruise then appears to talk about how he films his stunts.
Cruise and Sweeney smiled throughout their conversation and appeared to be enjoying themselves.
That night Cruise, who received an honorary Academy Award, looked neat in a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie, while Sweeney wore a sparkling silver off-shoulder dress featuring long draping down the back.
Cruise last month announced his split from 37-year-old actress Ana de Armas. A source told The Sun at the time, "The spark between them is gone but they still like each other's company, and both acted very maturely. The two ended things on good terms and remain friends." The friendly interaction with another actress after the breakup has drawn further attention.
Meanwhile, Sydney Sweeney is reportedly dating Scooter Braun after ending a seven-year relationship with Jonathan Davino earlier this year.
