Actor Kim Kap-soo's relentless activity continues.
On the 17th, his agency F&F Entertainment said Kim Kap-soo has been confirmed to appear in tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama Pro Bono, which premieres Dec. 6.
In this work, Kim Kap-soo plays Oh Gyu-jang, the founder of top law firm O&Partners. Oh Gyu-jang is the person who grew O&Partners into a mega law firm. He has now handed the CEO position to his daughter and stepped down as an adviser, but he is still the absolute power widely called a "legend" and a "monster" in the legal community.
Kim Kap-soo is expected to show a cold charisma through a character with a ruthless personality and a meticulous strategist streak. Expectations are rising for his transformation, which will once again show a new face through Pro Bono.
Pro Bono is a human courtroom drama about a petty judge obsessed with success who unintentionally becomes a public interest lawyer and is confined to the corner of a mega law firm in a public interest team with zero sales, leading to chaotic events. Alongside Kim Kap-soo, Jung Kyung-ho, So Ju-yeon and Lee Yoo-young are set to show their acting chemistry, heightening viewers' curiosity.
This year as well, Kim Kap-soo continues his busy pace with a new work and receives steady love from viewers for his deep acting regardless of genre.
Last year in particular, he left a deep impression by perfectly portraying two contrasting characters: Hong Man-dae, a chaebol chairman full of desire in Queen of Tears, and Yoon Jae-ho, the former director of Dokmok High School, a grandfather with love for his granddaughter and firm beliefs in Love Your Enemy.
Meanwhile, Pro Bono, which Kim Kap-soo has been confirmed to appear in, will premiere on Dec. 6 (Sat) at 9:10 p.m. on tvN.
