Actor Choi Jeong-yun looked back on the times she spent with her daughter on her birthday.
On the 17th, Choi Jeong-yun posted a long message with photos of memories with her daughter Ji-woo on her social account, saying "cooking seaweed soup for Ji-woo's birthday.."
She said, "Looking at 10-year-old Ji-woo, I am once again thankful and grateful that such a lovely and precious child came to me by some fate, and I still can't quite believe it," and added, "Looking back on the child's 10 years, standing in front of the birthday cake and seeing the child's shy but happy smile, so many thankful connections flashed before me," as she mentioned one by one the people who had stayed by and supported her and Ji-woo.
Choi Jeong-yun wrote the names and expressed thanks, "grandfather and grandmother who have always protected Ji-woo with endless love for 10 years", "attorney Lee Yoon-mi who accompanied me on the overwhelming journey and the Suwon Family Court officials who carried out that process warmly", "Chief Ko who always made sure I didn't lose my cool no matter the circumstances, Mi-jeong from Jenny House, director Hwa Ju and their family, and my managers to date", "the Cheongdam-dong Scandal family who have been friends regardless of age for a long time, Dr. Oh Eun-young and the producers of The Most Ordinary Family who helped courageously bring the story out as it is" and so on.
She bowed her head, saying, "the two-job-running Choi Jeong-yun team and subscribers who always see me kindly though I'm nothing special. The directors and writers who chose imperfect me. And director Heo In-moo who pulled me back onto the screen and herfam, who became friends through that connection. All of Ji-woo's teachers who always cherish her, praise her and teach her. I can't write them all, but to each and every person who showed interest in me and Ji-woo, became connected to us and supported us, all my friends, thank you so much."
She added, "not together but cheering for and supporting Ji-woo, yoon dad. The Yukmokhoe family. To everyone who always sends encouragement to Ji-woo and me, thank you so much. And special thanks... daddy DY, DY family... thank you so much for becoming family. I am once again thankful that there are so many people to thank.. Meanwhile, Choi Jeong-yun married 4-years-younger Yoon Tae-jun in March 2011. Yoon Tae-jun (real name Yoon Chung-geun) was a member of the five-member idol group Eagle Five and performed under the stage name T.J.Yoon. In particular, Yoon Tae-jun drew attention as the son of Park Seong-gyeong, vice chairman of E-Land Group. Later, Choi Jeong-yun, who welcomed daughter Ji-woo in 2016, announced an agreed divorce in October 2022 after three years of separation. Grandfather and grandmother who have always protected Ji-woo with endless love for her 10 years. A piano teacher who has been more than family and always gives strength to Ji-woo and me.
'If you die first, I'll take care of Ji-woo'—my friend Jin-hee who always waits, cheers, praises and supports me. Woo-hee, who is normal in every way, who cares for me while giving harsh words, sweet words and swears. Da-rae, who worries about Ji-woo more than I do and always loves her imperfect older sister.
