'I AM BOXER' opens the brutal world of boxers' merciless matches.
I AM BOXER, which will premiere at 11 p.m. on the 21st (Fri) on tvN (director Lee Won-woong, writer Kang Sook-kyung), has released a preview video for episode 1 and viewing points, heating up the excitement.
I AM BOXER is a gigantic blockbuster boxing survival program directly designed by global action star and 30-year boxing gym head Ma Dong-seok to revive K-boxing. The released preview video for episode 1 contains the staged performances of boxers who prepared dreaming of the revival of boxing and the lively scenes of I AM BOXER.
In particular, the first fight is a one-on-one match, which suggests that half of the 90 participants may be eliminated, increasing interest. The scenes of intense competition, including former UDT member and artist Yuk Jun-seo, entertainer fight ranking No. 1 Julien Kang, National Sports Festival gold medalist Guk Seung-jun, and former Tongyang champion Kim Min-wook, heighten immersion.
Other participants watching the matches, where contestants fight sincerely on the ring, admire, saying, "Lots of K.O.s," and "Wow, real grit," and MC Dex and Kim Jong-kook are also unable to take their eyes off. Also, there was collaboration with production designer Lee Young-joo, who created sets for 'Physical: 100' and 'Culinary Class Wars,' collaboration with the country's top experts on boxing rings, and use of a 1,000-pyeong set where the main matches take place and a 500-pyeong boxing gym set to amplify the viewing fun.
